Day 1 : Hanoi – Pu Luong National Reserves
Start our first day from outside of Hanoi center, we will take a smooth ride on brand new highway to Hoa Binh province. Off the main road, we catch back road heading Pu Luong National reserves. Landscape turns lush & green, with beautiful mountain pass to reach.
Late in the afternoon, we end up in an eco-stay with view to valley of Pu Luong nature.

Day 2 : Pu Luong – Vieng Xai (Enter Laos)
We start our day early to cross border to Laos. It takes some times to finish formalities at border checkpoint. Meet our local tour guide in Laos and we travel to Vieng Xai, place of today overnight. You get the taste of riding in Laos with lovely quiet traffic, isolated villages and blue mountains backdrop.
Vieng Xai is known as a historical place of country, and once was the head quarter of Phathet Lao in the war. If time permits, we spend our reminder of day to explore this spot and learn a piece of country’s history.

Day 3 : Vieng Xai – Xieng Khuang plateau
We have a long day await to explore and get fun riding. There will be loads of mountain roads, national parks all the way down to Xieng Khoang plateau, home of national treasure, the Plain of Jars. Its also the day we see more rural villages and meet friendly locals.
Lately in the afternoon, since we hit our town of Phonsavan, we will take a tour to Plain of Jars, one spectacular World Heritage Site in Laos.

Day 4 : Xieng Khuang – Luang Prabang World Heritage Site
Stick on main direction to Luang Prabang, we have another day travel through rural countryside here. En route, we pass by Phou Khoun view point and enjoy our lunch break in cool climate.
After lunch, there will be more twisted road for the way down Luang Prabang Old town.

Day 5 : Luang Prabang, free at leisure
Luang Prabang is the former capital of Laos, a World Heritage Site as well as a true land of rich culture and well-preserved architectures. It will be a great pleasure to explore this town at night and try some local specialties.

Day 6 : Luang Prabang – Muang Ngeun
We cross the river within town and catch new route to Hong Sa. For years, this is the most challenging route for motorcyclists in this country. Nowadays the route is being upgraded but still there the steep slopes, the demanding corners and its remote villages.
Our town for tonight will be right at border zone with Thailand, just for the next chapter to come.

Day 7 : Muang Ngeun – Nan (Enter Thailand)
We ride a short distance to border checkpoint where we cross over to Thailand. Meet our local escort, we then hit the road again. Thailand just welcomes you with its lush nature, beautifully constructed road blended in among smooth-shaped hills and open views.
The picturesque route of Thailand first day takes us to one of the best motorcycle region of the country, which is called Nan. Avoid main route, we ride along Doi Phu Kha national park and reach Nan town for the nightstay.

Day 8 : Nan – Chiang Mai
One of the best picturesque routes for motorcycling in Thailand, the loop of Nan – Phrae – Lampang – Chiang Mai. And we will enjoy every minutes on this fast smooth curving ride.

Day 9 : Chiang Mai, free at leisure
A full rest day to get recovery and explore Chiang Mai old town. Such a great city for everything, you can do a good ride up to mountain, a good walk to night market, and you can visit some of greatest temples in country. The nightlife in Chiang Mai is also attractive to experience.

Day 10 : Chiang Mai – Mae Hong Son
It looks pretty straight-forward leaving Chiang Mai to start the Mae Hong Son Loop. But before cruising along Route 108, we will take back road to the highest point of Thailand, Doi Inthanon. It’s truly a ride! Nature and the road are remarkable and come in a great mixture.
The seemingly endless forest starts to change to gorgeous green farmland. The level of traffic drops away to be almost non-existent and there are quite a few little villages en route. There are some different ways to reach Mae Hong Son, and we will take the one through flora land of Ban Hua Thong. It will never be a dull moment to ride off the main track in Thailand.

Day 11 : Mae Hong Son – Pai
The road is windy, but it is scenic and beautiful. This leg of the journey features bends and steep hills you will encounter. Is very picturesque and the ride will take longer than expected as we stop for numerous photo opportunities and to check out the huge number of attractions to see.
The final distance on this section of the Mae Hong Son Loop sees you ride to the top of a mountain pass and then descend into the valley with spectacular vistas and fun curves to take at speed.

Day 12 : Pai – Chiang Rai
The small town of Pai is an attraction. So many things to see and to do here. Pai also gives a look of old little town which has got Thai and Burmese mixture in architecture.
The morning ride from Pai is a present. Its a gorgeous twisted road of 762 curves takes us to an end of Mae Hong Son Loop. The nature changes with the altitude gain and you are eventually riding through the sweet aroma wafting from pine trees. You stay at height for a while and then begin to descend, offering more sensational views and tight corners.
In the afternoon, we will ride more back roads to city of Chiang Rai.

Day 13 : Chiang Rai – Golden Triangle Park – Chiang Khong
The wonder of Golden Triangle is to witness 3 countries; Thailand, Myanmar, and Laos, in one place. In the past, Golden Triangle was the world’s large source of drug trafficking owing to its privileged location attached to many countries. However, it is currently taken good care of and becomes a popular tourist attraction. From the viewpoint, we will find the land that connects the three countries, surrounded by long and calm waterway. A fascinating spot to visit.
We ride along Mekong river as also natural border between Thailand & Laos. Amazing countryside in far Northern Thailand that brings peace in mind.

Day 14 : Chieng Khong – Pak Beng – Muang Xay (Re-enter Laos)
Finish the paperwork at Huai Sai, here we back to Laos again, the next distance will be on a dusty road in back country and cruising on highway 2 heading town of Muang Xay.

Day 15 : Muang Xay – Dien Bien Phu (Back Vietnam)
We have pleasant twisted distances in the morning to the checkpoint of Tay Trang. After quick time for paperwork at checkpoint, we have a little more distance to Dien Bien Phu city.
Dien Bien Phu has a rich history hidden inside its developing look. The city once became a decisive battle field for country freedom. We pay a visit to museum of Dien Bien Phu victory in the afternoon.

Day 16 : Dien Bien Phu – Moc Chau plateau
We will have beautiful mountain passes of Pha Din, Son La to ride in the morning. In the afternoon, we find a rough back road to our homestay in heart of Moc Chau plateau.

Day 17 : Moc Chau – Hanoi (Tour ends)
We will take main road of highway 6 heading to Hanoi. There will be still some curvy roads and fun back roads to ride. Just before city territory, our shuttle bus will pick us up to center of Hanoi to avoid chaotic traffic. Tour ends!
