Day 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong
We start our tour off Hanoi center by its dyke road to avoid the chaotic traffic. We soon find the back road through an exotic countryside all the way up to the abundant of Pu Luong Nature Reserves. The last distance features a great mountain road which looks down to the valley of Thai villages with amazing open view.
In the afternoon, you are welcome to an Eco-lodge settled around rice terraces and hills. Time to enjoy a pool of fresh running water and a traditional home cooked dinner.

Day 2: Pu Luong – Moc Chau
It’s a lovely day to ride a motorcycle.
There are not many regions alike to Moc Chau plateau where you find rough terrains with vast mountain ranges, beautiful agricultural valleys, great cool climate and such colorful ethnic groups. Start from Pu Luong, we ride up on those small back roads in deep countryside of Moc Chau. Every single curve ends up into a new open view, landscape keeps changing and so diverse.
In the afternoon, we should reach the town of Moc Chau, find our nice hotel for tonight stay.

Day 3: Moc Chau – Nghia Lo
Another great day on motorcycle in our trip.
In the morning, we will cross Da river by a ferry. Keep riding off the beaten tracks, we find so many back roads through local villages and farms. The main part of riding today takes us up to the magnificent mountains of Ta Xua national park, and the land of terraces, Tram Tau and Nghia Lo.
The beautiful and prosperous valley of Nghia Lo is home of Thai ethnic people. Don’t miss the market walk and explore their trading customs.

Day 4: Nghia Lo – Luc Yen
We ride short for today and spend some times to relax in the great countryside of Yen Bai province.
The morning ride comes on a small route heading Northeast zone. We ride through fruit farms, some remote villages and soon cross over Red river. We make a good time to arrive to our destination. We spend rest of the day to walk around this beautiful village and make friends with the lovely locals. Do not surprise to be invited into their homes and even get few rice wine shots as a greeting.

Day 5: Luc Yen – Ha Giang
Avoid the short direction, we will have a full day riding back and forth between midland to mountain and around the very rough terrain of our North.
After reaching Heaven Gate and the Hoang Su Phi Pass, there will be a great single route making a short cut to Ha Giang city. Offering such magnificent landscapes, few rural villages en route, the route really brings you into remote areas. By late afternoon, we end up in a hidden lodge in among vast rice terraces, such a nice place after a perfect day ride.

Day 6: Ha Giang – Meo Vac
Here comes the next chapter of the tour: enter the mountains!
Core of this tour, today we explore the rocky plateau of Dong Van, also named as Vietnam’s moonscape.
In the recent years, Dong Van has been recognized as a global geo-park by UNESCO, referring to its unique karst formations. Geological diversity and climate shifts over millions of years have created diverse and spectacular rock gardens and rock forests within the region. The rocky outcrops, small waterfalls, terraced fields, and small thatched houses nestled behind rock walls and peach gardens create a stunningly picturesque landscape. Above this rough terrains, all hill-tribe minorities carry on their lives with joy and tradition, showing the best of their lifestyle. And so, we do a ride up there on a long stretching mountain road.
Spend a night in our traditional H’mong house, enjoy cozy atmosphere and authentic local dinner.

Day 7: Meo Vac – Tra Linh
We ride at elevation of 1,000m above sea level all the way crossing over to the far Northeast. Rugged mountains, steep valleys, twisted roads, rice terraces and hill-tribe communities – we will see real Northern Vietnam at its most.
Find a dirt track downstream of Nho Que river where we do a bamboo raft to reach Cao Bang, the far Northeast territory. The landscape of Cao Bang province is one of the best in Northern Vietnam. It offers a great mixture of innumerable limestone peaks among narrow valleys and villages. Our ride carries on single route along Chinese border to the unknown of public tourism. And we find our accommodation for tonight hidden in one of those greenful valleys.

Day 8: Tra Linh – Ban Gioc waterfalls – Chi Vien
Another amazing day to explore Cao Bang global geopark. The road is rough sometimes but the scenery is unbelievably beautiful and magnificent. Later on, we head to Ban Gioc waterfalls, which forms a natural border line between Vietnam and China. Looking down from above, in the white spume, it’s really an image from heaven. We spend some time to enjoy its fresh water and a boat tour.
The reminder distance is just enjoyable through those charming countryside of Cao Bang. Our place for tonight locates right at the bank of Quay Son river. If time permits, you can also enjoy the water and do SUP/kayak.

Day 9: Chi Vien – Ba Be
It’s time to bid farewell to mountains and we start rolling down.
Ba Be national park is always one of our most beloved destinations. Its moss-green water lake, twisted roads hidden under a dense forest, the exotic village beneath the white-limestone mountain reach straight to our feelings. Just before our destination for the night, we will load all motorcycles onboard and take a short trip to enjoy sightseeing through lake of Ba Be national park. Especially when the sun goes down, it’s an epic ride.

Day 10: Ba Be – Ha Noi
We will ride on a countryside road for most of distances from Ba Be, through districts of Tan Trao, and Son Duong. The short ride just before Hanoi city will come with more traffics.
