Day 1 : Hanoi – Pu Luong
We start our tour off Hanoi center by its dyke road to avoid the chaotic traffic. We soon find the back road through an exotic countryside all the way up to the abundant Pu Luong Nature Reserves. The last distance features a great mountain road which looks down to the valley of Thai villages with amazing open view.
In recent years, Pu Luong has become a popular spot for those who love to see authentic Vietnam mountain life. Here you find prosperous Thai villages among terraces, steep valleys, carry one their way of agriculture and appreciate the nature.
In the afternoon, you are welcome to an Eco-lodge settled around rice terraces and hills. Time to enjoy a pool of fresh running water and a traditional home cooked dinner.

Day 2 : Pu Luong – Cua Lo beach
We start a new ride on a beautiful winding road which follows the bank of Ma River. After some hours riding on an undulating quiet road, we join the new Ho Chi Minh Highway. This newly carved route leads us due South, through the remote back country, not far from the Laos border.
Lunch will served with local food before we grab the last go on the unknown coastal road of Nghe An province. Here you witness some traditional fishing farms and villages. Off the tourist route, you can also explore the authentic lifestyle of Vietnamese fishermen.

Day 3 : Cua Lo beach – Phong Nha
This morning we head inland towards the Dong Loc Intersection, (the main junction for supply lines during the war) which is widely regarded in Vietnamese eyes as the beginning of the Ho Chi Minh Trails. We then ride pass through the remote back country, as closer to the border, as more steadily the scenery becomes dominated by karst formations.
Our place today is at the core of the famous Phong Nha Ke Bang national park, a gate-way to the finest nature wonder in the country. It’s a pleasure to ride catch some gorgeous sundown in around countryside of Phong Nha.

Day 4 : Phong Nha
Phong Nha is an ideal place for a full day of exploration. We can do a boat tour to Phong Nha wet cave, ride to Paradise cave, have fun in Suoi Moc water park, ride a bicycle around rustic villages, etc … This is truly a place for you to stay deep in nature.

Day 5 : Phong Nha – Khe Sanh
The western leg of Ho Chi Minh road from Phong Nha, is a must-ride motorcycle route in Central Vietnam. Not just of its historical background, the route itself offers some best of curves, demanding sharp corners, wild landscapes, mysterious villages,… in a perfect combination.
Just before town of Khe Sanh, we will visit Victory Museum and learn a piece of legendary Ho Chi Minh Trails. The little town of Khe Sanh settles well in the hilly region close to Laos border. Its destined location created one of the most fiercest but gloriest page in modern Vietnam history.

Day 6 : Khe Sanh – Hue
That day, we will take the time to visit some of the most important historical relics in Vietnam modern history, the DMZs. We head back to the coast and turn off for Hien Luong Bridge on the Ben Hai River, which was once the border that divided Vietnam into two different states. Then we ride a bit up North to visit Vinh Moc tunnel, a living memory of war survivors.
Half way to Hue, we ride through the magnificent lagoon of Tam Giang, and finish our day in the former capital city of Vietnam, Hue.
After a little walk along charming Perfume river bank, taste a Hue style cuisine, we will join a boat trip on the river, enjoy traditional royal court music show.

Day 7 : Hue – Hoi An
Hue was once the political and cultural capital of the Feudal State of Vietnam, during the Nguyen Dynasty. Its heritage Citadel is worth a visit.
Then we leave Hue and take the back road to Danang. Soon we ride up the Hai Van pass, recommended as one of the most beautiful coastal roads in the world by Top Gear show from BBC. Its breathtaking landscapes are outstanding, the road is facing the ocean and leaned on a mountain range.
We take the last distance through the beach city of Danang and arrive in Hoi An old town for a night stay.

Day 8 : Hoi An
We’ll spend the full day exploring the World Culture Heritage site of Hoi An. In its glory days, Hoi An was an international trading harbor, a gateway of the country towards the world. Its old town, unique combination of architectural monuments in various forms: residential houses, assembly halls, communal houses, … has been well preserved. By so, Hoi An is really fascinating at its own mixture between old values and urban lifestyle.
From Hoi An, we can ride to My Son sanctuary, another World Heritage Site in area. My Son is known as one of the three ancient capitals of the Champa Kingdom. Nowadays, its ruin temples are attractive to tourists because of its unique architecture and great landscape surroundings.
And also An Binh beach can be a relaxing treatment for a day off motorcycling.

Day 9 : Hoi An – Kon Tum
The route today is one of the best routes for motorcycling in Central Vietnam. Soon from the lowland, we turn off to take back road along the boundary of Ngoc Linh national reserves, heading Central Highland. Landscapes turn out wild and abundant, with just few villages we may see.
Lunch will be served en route. At the end of the day, we’ll find our cozy spot for the night in an eco-place nearby Dak Bla river.

Day 10 : Kon Tum – Buon Me Thuot
There are plenty of attractive spot in our first ride Kon Tum to Gia Lai. We ride those shady back roads, through tea fields, coffee farms, and along lakeside of Bien Ho.
Heading down to the heart of the Central Highland, Buon Me Thuot, we ride through more prosperously agricultural farms. This is the homeland of the greatest coffee in the country, and also of diverse minority groups.
Just before our hotel tonight, a visit to Global Coffee Museum will give a good sense of this land.

Day 11 : Buon Me Thuot – Ta Dung
In the morning we ride to the Dray Sap waterfall which lines at border belt between Daklak and Dak Nong provinces. We will have times to enjoy this well-preserved natural spot, with the sound of fresh water, the sense of a piece of jungle.
Get back to our bikes, now it’s time for a good ride. We will do a great route of motorcycling through new World Nature Wonder, the Unesco Dak Nong Geo-park. A mixture of winding road, back country road, shady road, is awaiting for you.

Day 12 : Ta Dung – Cam Ranh
Heading back to the coast, we first ride through remarkable Ta Dung national park then back countryside of the Central Coast. All the curves and corners finally take us to Cam Ranh bay and we will find our quiet lodge at the corner of Binh Lap peninsula.
It is a reward after a day ride, here you are welcome by a private beach, nice rooms with an open view to the picturesque water of the bay.

Day 13 : Cam Ranh
A rest day to explore Cam Ranh bay and surroundings with a possible boat tour, or just stay on our private beach.

Day 14 : Cam Ranh – Mui Ne
An easy riding and another day of the best coastal roads in Vietnam. This fine route takes us across diverse landscapes, the cliff road of Nui Chua national park, the desert land of Binh Thuan, the massive grape fields and salt fields of Ninh Thuan, before arriving to the sand dunes of Mui Ne.
The lonely beaches, still untouched by tourists made Mui Ne popular. It boasts shady roads under coconut trees, a beautiful beach and cliffs battered by the waves of the sea. The typical scenery of Mui Ne lies in the moving lines of golden sand caused by the wind and when they are seen from afar they look like moving waves. Mui Ne is truly a relaxing destination.

Day 15 : Mui Ne – Vung Tau – Ho Chi Minh city
We will take new road running along the coast-line from Mui Ne until Vung Tau city.
From there, it takes 2 more hours to get to HCM city center, check in the hotel. Finishing 16 days of exploration in motorcycle tour.
